THE MIBO “GRANDE” A-10 WARTHOG “As Real As It Gets”
The A-10 Grande from MIBO Jets was created to set new benchmark in scale jet modelling. Long term development went into transforming the legendary Warthog into a highly accurate, museum-quality model. Every line, curve and detail has been carefully reproduced using advanced moulding techniques. The surface features all scale details, like panel lines, rivets and precisely shaped nacelles, giving the model an unmistakably authentic look. Even the cockpit and landing gear have been designed as the real one to reflect the rugged character of te full-size aircraft.
High-End Composite Construction
Despite its imposing size, the A-10 Grande was engineered with lightweight composite materials that provide outstanding strength and stability at low weight. Only aerospace-grade certified materials are used in production. The result is a scale replica that not only impresses on the ground with its realistic presence, but also delivers smooth, predictable flight performance in the air.

Scale Detailing Beyond Expectation
The A-10 KIT includes a composite GFK/CFK fuselage with integrated formers and pre-prepared equipment bays. The wings are manufactured in GFK/CFK sandwich construction and come fully prepared with installed spars, wing joiners, and pre-hinged control surfaces. The horizontal stabilizers and vertical fins are also composite parts, pre-fitted and ready for installation. The kit also includes a basic hardware package with screws, linkages, and CNC-cut plywood parts required for assembly. A wing joiner, clear canopy, and all essential composite components needed to complete the airframe are included as well.
The landing gear for our A-10 is engineered specifically for this model and follows the characteristic layout of the full-scale Warthog. It uses a strong retractable tricycle arrangement, designed to handle rougher surfaces and provide excellent stability, just like the real aircraft. The main units feature the A-10’s recognizable geometry with reinforced trailing-link suspension, large shock-absorbing elements, and the wide stance typical for this airframe. All components of the landing gear are developed and produced in our own workshop, ensuring precise fit, high durability, and a very authentic scale appearance. The system includes custom-machined mechanical parts, detailed scale elements, 3D-printed accessories, simulated hydraulic lines, brake assemblies, and wheel hubs shaped to resemble the look of the original aircraft. The result is a reliable, smooth-operating landing gear system built from the ground up for our A-10.
The A-10 cockpit is built to closely match the full-scale aircraft, featuring accurate panel shapes, detailed side consoles, and the characteristic armored tub. The canopy operates through a functional scale-style mechanism that opens and locks just like on the real A-10. To enhance realism, the cockpit includes working electronic displays, illuminated elements, and finely crafted 3D-printed components, creating a highly authentic and functional interior.
For customers who want to bring their A-10 to the highest level of scale realism, we offer an extensive selection of optional scale components. These include a fully operating canopy system already mounted, detailed fuselage air scoops, intakes and service doors, as well as a complete set of scale VHF and AM antennas. Additional external details such as the Pave Penny pod with its dedicated pylon, APU exhaust deflector, fuel vents, cooling system intake, EGI/GPS dome, formation light deflectors, pitot probe, flare dispensers, and scale light housings with covers further enhance the authenticity of the airframe.
For weapons and external stores, customers can choose from a wide range of scale accessories:
Wing pylons (set of 8), fuselage pylon kit (set of 3), MK-82 bombs (set of 4), an external drop tank, AGM-65 Maverick missiles with launchers, AIM-9 Sidewinders with launchers, and a fully functional Maxotronic Gatling Gun. Additional scale equipment such as the cockpit access ladder, engine covers, AN/ARC-210 BLOS antenna, and high-detail turbo fans with holders (pair) are also available.
