Oskar Stempihar from Logatec – Slovenia

I was introduced to RC model flying at a very young age, growing up in a family where model airplanes were a daily part of life. My father Bogo founded Mibo Modeli, so I practically grew up surrounded by composite parts, gliders and later, jet models.

What started as helping in the workshop and assembling small gliders soon became a real passion — designing, building, and flying advanced RC models.

Where design meets flight – combining engineering, craftsmanship and flying experience to bring Mibo Jets prototypes from concept to reality.

Over the years I became deeply involved in the development and testing of Mibo Jets projects such as the Spark, Cyclone PRO, X-35, A-10 Warthog, Shadow, and several UAV platforms, gaining a strong understanding of how design, material and setup choices influence flight performance.

My main focus has always been on test flying, setup optimization, and production work, ensuring every model performs as intended.

One of my first projects was the Cyclone PRO glider, where I contributed to flight testing, fine adjustments, and production refinements — achieving multiple F3J and F5J victories

Flying everything from gliders to jets

As a Mibo Jets Team Pilot, I represent our brand at international events, competitions and fairs around the globe. I fly practically all types of Mibo Jets aircraft — from high-performance gliders to scale jets.

Each model tells a story of passion, teamwork, and engineering — and being part of the Mibo Jets development family continues to be both an honor and a constant source of inspiration, driving me to keep improving, exploring new ideas, and pushing every project to its full potential.
